The Cottage

Entering the cottage from the street, you walk up the stairs to the front door, opening into the kitchen / dining / lounge area with its beautiful exposed beams, your eyes are drawn to the patio door with its great view down the estuary. The kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances, lots of utensils and has an antique table with seating for six. The lounge area features comfy sofas with luxurious fabrics and furnishings, there is a beautiful fireplace with Cornish stone and an oak mantel, housing a woodburning stove, there are board games and a large smart TV to keep you entertained on those rainy days. Opening the patio door onto the balcony, you can enjoy a nice drink whilst taking in the view and the river activity. Steps lead down to the lower balcony and patio where you can fish or catch a crab! Here there is a table and benches, there is also access into the basement which includes the utility area and sink.

Upstairs we have a king bedroom overlooking the estuary to the rear of the house which is situated next to the house bathroom with shower, wc and sink unit. Toward the front of the cottage is the twin bedroom overlooking the street. Climbing up the second flight of stairs leads to the loft bedroom with vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and superb view.  There is also an en suite with shower, wc and sink unit. All bedrooms feature comfy beds with crisp 100% cotton sheets, and plenty of storage for clothes etc.
